CHICAGO -- Wednesday is supposed to be Mitch Keller's spot in the rotation, but as of Tuesday, the Pirates have yet to announce a starter.
Keller could potentially still pitch that game, but it might not be as a starter, with Derek Shelton saying he could be used out of the bullpen.
"We’ve given almost everybody who’s started for us different options," Shelton said before Tuesday's game against the Cubs at Wrigley Field. "I’m not going to say that he’s specifically going to pitch out of the bullpen tomorrow. Could that be an option at one point for us tomorrow?
