Before some of the biggest stars in the American League face Pirates closer Felipe Vazquez in the MLB All-Star game, they’ll have to handle the heat from another local.
Franklin Regional Middle School student Joey Sisk will be representing the team in Washington as one of two winners in the Chevrolet Play Ball Kid Reporter contest, a gig that affords him the honor of interviewing big names including the Angels’ Mike Trout and the Yankees’ Aaron Judge during his trip.
Joey, 11, already has some on-camera work under his belt after winning the Pirates’ kid reporter contest with this video submission.
