Both Altoona and Indianapolis have early start time today. Altoona goes first in the morning with Omar Cruz on the mound. Indianapolis has Roansy Contreras listed in their game notes and game recap, but the MiLB schedule says TBD, and the Pirates don’t have a starter named yet. I wrote him in anyway just in case. I’ll fill in Greensboro later. They have Jared Jones listed and it seems unlikely (sarcasm) that he would pitch on back-to-back days.

The Triple-A season opened up last night, as the Indianapolis Indians were the only Pittsburgh Pirates affiliate in action until the other three full-season teams begin their schedule on Friday night.
