Entering the offseason, it was expected that the Pittsburgh Pirates would shop some of their veteran players like Starling Marte and Keone Kela. While there have been plenty of rumors about Starling Marte, the other most rumored player has been Adam Frazier. There have been plenty of updates from MLB Insiders about how Frazier was one of the most popular names at the Winter Meetings.
The first day of the Winter Meetings brought this news. Jon Heyman said that he is actually drawing more interest from teams than Starling Marte.
