According to Hector Gomez, MLB insider from the Dominican Republic, Roansy Contreras is expected to make his MLB debut with the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday night at PNC Park against the Chicago Cubs.

Contreras was traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates on January 24th 2021 from the New York Yankees in exchange for Jameson Taillon.
