The Arizona Fall League is now over a week into play and the Pittsburgh Pirates continue to see their prospects get good experience. Yesterday, the Surprise Saguaros took on the Peoria Javelinas. The game was spotlighted for the reason that Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (Surprise) was playing Keston Hiura (Peoria), the two top prospects in terms of their hit tool in the Arizona Fall League. With that, Peoria defeated Surprise by a score of 7-2. The Javelinas belted out 10 hits just one day after having 16 hits. Meanwhile, the Saguaros only posted five hits.
While the Surprise Saguaros only had five hits, the Pittsburgh Pirates in the lineup had a solid game.
