Pirates sweep Dodgers with 8-4 victory

How’s that for a trip to L.A.? The Pittsburgh Pirates had big nights at the plate from Bryan Reynolds (long overdue) and Rodolfo Castro, while five Bucco pitchers were enough to get it done on the mound and send the Pirates to an 8-4 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers to sweep the three-game set against one of the league’s top teams. It was Pittsburgh’s first sweep in L.A. since 2000.

Reynolds hit a two-run shot in the fifth and finished the game 2-for-3 from the plate with two RBIs. It was Reynolds’ eighth homer of the year and second dinger this series.
