Konnor Griffin has been making waves all season long in the minors, showing off his incredible bat skills and athleticism on the base pads and in the field on defense. His latest wave came this week when he made his High-A debut with the Greensboro Grasshoppers.
Griffin would debut for the Grasshoppers on Tuesday as Greensboro started their six-game series against the Rome Emperors. The 19-year-old prospect was thrust into the lineup as the team’s shortstop, and he quickly put to rest anyone’s doubts about how he’d perform at the next level.
In his first game at High-A, Griffin would tally two doubles, an RBI, and a run scored as the Grasshoppers took game one 8-2.
