The Pirates and Brewers will renew their rivalry on Friday night in a first of three game weekend set. The weather looks to be very nice, so crowds should be big for the series. The Pirates have made it very clear that this season, the hope was to get off to a better start in April, after falling back early the last several seasons. Part of the slow starts has been fueled by inconsistent play against teams within the division that they should beat.
Case in point would be the Brewers. Last season, the Brew Crew took the season series against the Pirates, winning 10 of 19 games despite being 26 games below .
