MLB.com released their rankings of the top 1B prospects in MLB. The Pirates' Josh Bell was ranked as the second most coveted prospect at the position, behind the Astros' A.J. Reed. Bell was drafted by the Pirates in 2011, and after being promoted to AAA Indianapolis last season, his bat came alive in a big way. In just over 30 games in AAA he slashed .359/.454/.521 with a 183 wRC+.
