Talk about a trade deadline shakeup. Out of nowhere, Pirates insider Kevin Gorman of TribLIVE stated on 93.7 The Fan that sources indicated to him that the only untouchable in Pittsburgh is now Paul Skenes. For a while, that untouchable list included Andrew McCutchen and Oneil Cruz. A couple of weeks ago, Cruz was excluded from a list that MLB insider Jon Heyman launched. Now, all of a sudden, the face of the franchise is reportedly being listened on.
Gorman doesn't expect McCutchen to have any desire to leave, but keeping him is not quite an automatic assumption, from what he hears.
