Pirates continue to fall in latest power rankings

The Pittsburgh Pirates are still a little slow as the calendar turns to May.

The team has just a dozen wins through the first weekend of May, and things could begin to look concerning for the Buccos.

Bleacher Report writer Joel Reuter has the Pirates clocking in at No. 29 in his power rankings, one spot lower than last week’s edition.

The Pirates have lost four of their last five series, going 4-13 during that stretch to tumble to the bottom tier of teams. Paul Skenes and Andrew Heaney are both pitching at an All-Star level and the starting rotation as a whole has logged a passable 4.
