Pirates avoid arbitration with Bell, Taillon

The Pirates avoided arbitration and agreed to terms with Josh Bell and Jameson Taillon for 2020 Friday, marking the first moves in what will be a busy day for the team.

Bell signed for $4.8 million, per Mark Feinsand, and Taillon for $2.25 million, per Bob Nightengale. Michael Feliz also came to terms for $1.1 million, with Robert Murray reporting first.

Bell had a breakout campaign in 2019, earning an All-Star nod by hitting 37 home runs and driving home 116 runs.
