The Pittsburgh Pirates originally planned to send nine players to the 2022 Arizona Fall League. That became eight when Matt Gorski got injured in his first game with Indianapolis at the end of the 2022 season. He’s still doing rehab work, but the other eight players put in a full AFL season and helped the Surprise Saguaros to a league title on Saturday.
