It’s been an overall tough season for the Bradenton Marauders. They finished with a 29-36 record in the first half of the season, good for fourth place out of six teams in the Florida State League West Division.
They are 2-2 to start the second half, but it’s been more of the same for the Marauders, who have really struggled at the plate.
On the season, they rank in the bottom half for just about every offensive category. The exception is stolen bases. That’s at least an encouraging sign, as whenever they do get on base, they are doing whatever they can to put themselves in position to score.
