The Altoona Curve activated right-handed pitcher Jared Jones from the 7-day Injured List on Wednesday morning. He will start today for Altoona in their 11 AM game.
The 21-year-old Jones made three starts for the Curve before going on the IL. He gave up two runs over 4.2 innings in his opener. That was followed by him allowing one run over four innings, though he gave up four hits and four walks.
Jones had a solid third start on April 20th in which he allowed one run over five innings. He gave up seven hits, but it came with no walks and five strikeouts.
