The Altoona Curve open their season tonight. We announced their 2023 roster three days ago, while noting that they had more players than active roster spots. They got down to that limit on Thursday.
Altoona placed catcher Carter Bins on the 7-day injured list. They also placed pitcher Brad Case on the 7-day injured list. As mentioned in the roster article, he had a minor setback during Spring Training and he was working out down at Pirate City, which is why he wasn’t on the announced roster.
The other roster moves are all players who have been sent to the Developmental List.
