Bradenton added catchers Darwin Baez and Rafael Escalante, as well as outfielder Sergio Campana and right-handed pitcher Carlos Campos.
Infielder Brenden Dixon, pitchers Xavier Concepcion and Darvin Garcia, and outfielder Angel Basabe were all placed on the 7-day injured list.
It seems unlikely that four players were all hurt in the last game, so there might be more behind these moves.
