As those of us who are fans of the Pittsburgh Pirates prepare to celebrate the holidays, we have already received some great gifts this year. These gifts all started when the Pirates kicked off their front office and coaching staff overhaul.
In moves that were very needed, and arguably overdue, manager Clint Hurdle and general manager Neal Huntington were let go.
