One game to rule them all. Or so it seems.
For those trying to earn a spot on the Steelers' 53-man roster, that's surely the idea going into Sunday's preseason finale against the Lions. Survive the race to this point. Show some flashes.
But now it's time for the finishing kick.
One such player who has done that is first-year wide receiver Tyler Vaughns.
Vaughns, a USC product, flashed throughout training camp and the preseason. And he's had a big part in the Steelers winning their first two preseason games, turning a simple out pattern into a game-winning touchdown in Week 1 against the Seahawks, then being the go-to receiver on a game-winning drive last weekend against the Jaguars.
