Angry callers flooded 93.7 The Fan’s “Starkey and Mueller” show Tuesday to demand the Pirates retaliate after the Chicago Cubs first baseman took out catcher Elias Diaz in a 7-0 Cubs win Monday at PNC Park.
“We look like wimps,” Daryl from California said seemingly at the top of his voice in reference to the Pirates decision not to retaliate late in the game Monday. “[Manager] Clint Hurdle should be ashamed of himself. He played the game. He knows the unwritten rules.
