Ke’Bryan Hayes and Pirates Reportedly Reach Deal on Long-Term Extension

According to Robert Murray, the Pittsburgh Pirates and third baseman Ke’Bryan Hayes have reached a deal on an eight-year contract for $70M, which also includes a club option for a ninth season. It’s the largest contract handed out in Pirates history, topping the $60M deal signed by Jason Kendall. More to come.
