The Pittsburgh Pirates have many first round draft blunders in their history, but this one might be the worst for many reasons.

The Pittsburgh Pirates finished out the 2001 season with a 62-100 record, the worst in baseball. They only had two players who produced above average numbers, but a good amount of their position players didn’t even come remotely close to league average.
