ALTOONA, Pa. -- Pitt signed a smaller class on national signing day, so the Panthers don't have a great national ranking, but the program did finish off the day on a really good note.
Pitt signed 12 players on signing day, and the class ranks No. 64 in the nation, according to 247Sports. It's not exactly the kind of strong class one would expect from an ACC championship team, but the way the numbers worked, Pitt didn't have the space for a large recruiting class. And the Panthers certainly will be looking to make a bigger impact in recruiting over the upcoming year.
