DeSmith 'unbelievable' in 52-save shutout against Bruins

Mike Sullivan and his staff won't have to do a forensic analysis of the game video to find something they like about the Penguins' 4-0 victory against the Bruins at PPG Paints Arena Thursday night.

Not when Jake Guentzel scored three goals, to swell his total for the season to 40.

And not when the Penguins' two-way work for much of the evening was a template for what the coaches hope to see a lot in coming weeks.

And especially not when Casey DeSmith, who figures to be the Penguins' go-to goalie when the playoffs begin in a couple of weeks if Tristan Jarry's broken foot hasn't healed, rejected all 52 shots Boston launched at him.
