Cannonballs coming: Will Craig, Bryan Reynolds play longball

West Virginia was rained out.

— Indianapolis (51-45) lost to Charlotte in ten innings, 6-5. Clay Holmes may have been suffering from a bit of a letdown after his outstanding start for the Pirates last Saturday. He gave up ten hits and five runs, but he threw strikes and managed to last seven innings. Holmes walked two and fanned eight. Adam Frazier went 3-5 and Kevin Kramer 2-5 with a double.
