Bucs lose close one 2-1 to Dodgers

Justin Turner of the Los Angeles Dodgers hit two solo home runs off of Pittsburgh Pirates starter Tyler Anderson, and the Bucs’ anemic bats returned, as the Pirates managed just three total hits on the night off a bevy of L.A. pitchers to lose their second straight in the series to the Dodgers and their 12 straight in a row overall to L.A.

Pittsburgh only got hits from Adam Frazier, Ke’Bryan Hayes, and Gregory Polanco, all singles, with the only run coming when Polanco’s hit in the first drove in a walked Bryan Reynolds, and that was all Pittsburgh could muster.
