The Milwaukee Brewers will interview Tyrone Brooks, the Pirates' Director of Player Personnel, for their General Manager position, according to Bob Nightengale.

Milwaukee has a vacant GM position after Doug Melvin stepped down last month. Brooks has a lot of involvement in the Pirates' system. He oversees the Professional Scouting Department and the International Scouting Department. He also assists Neal Huntington with planning, personnel moves, and decision-making. He's held his current position since September 16, 2011.
Brooks serves as a cross checker for the Pirates on the international side, including his work in Asia. I interviewed him prior to last season about his role signing guys out of Taiwan, with the Pirates .
