All Hands On Deck: Tough Night For Starters

Eduardo Vera (pictured above) was roughed up early, allowing five runs in the first three innings pitched, but he was able to regain his footing and retire his last 11 batters faced to last six frames. That effort was enough to earn a win (2-3) in a 6-5 Indianapolis victory over the Norfolk Tides.

Trayvon Robinson delivered the big hit of the night with a three run homer in the fourth. Dovydas Neverauskas struck out a pair in a two inning save (4). Lonnie Chisenhall got the night off.

Scooter Hightower (2-4) was tagged for a run in each of his three innings of work- six in total- in a 7-5 Curve loss to the Harrisburg Senators.
