This year was his first pitching while he doubled as the team’s center fielder, hitting 266/369/498 with 13 homers, but struck out in 25% of his PA’s. As a pitcher he collected 13 saves, walking 11 and striking out 25 in 26 2⁄3 innings.
Alex McRae (5-6, 5.00) gave up four runs in five and two thirds innings, including three runs in a third inning that featured a pair of doubles and a homer.
