The Pirates recalled RHP Alex McRae from Indianapolis while optioning RHP Luis Escobar back.
RHP Will Kobos (6.05 ERA in 19 1⁄3 IP) was promoted from West Virginia to Greensboro. He was a 19th Round pick in 2018 and played all last year at Bristol where he had a 7.11 ERA and 42 K’s in 31 3/2 innings.
The DSL Pirates-2 placed LF Stilwatt Valerio (0-for-4 in two games) on the 60 day Injured List and add 20 year old RHP Darvin Garcia, who was signed on July 22, to their roster.
