All Hands on Deck: Aaron Shortridge with another quality start for Bradenton

Altoona released RHP Austin Coley (3.62 ERA in 27 13 IP) He was in his sixth year in the organization, having been selected from Belmont University on the 8th Round of the 2014 draft. He went 16-6 with a 3.66 ERA in his first full season at Charleston, making his way up the ladder one level a year, with near 140 innings each season, and posting a 3.01 ERA in 2017 at Altoona. Promoted to Triple-A Indianapolis in 2018, he pitched poorly and hit the disabled list in early June. Coley returned to action on May 27 of this year and was eased back in, with 27 innings in 18 appearances before going down with a sprained ankle on August 1.
