The Surprise Saguaros lost their second game of the season on Thursday, dropping them to a 7-2 record. They were back at it on Friday afternoon, with two Pittsburgh Pirates in the lineup. Here’s a recap of Friday’s action.
Nick Gonzales batted third and played shortstop. He struck out in the first inning and in the fourth inning as well. He reached on an error in the sixth, leaving him 0-for-3 with an error, his third of the fall.
Blake Sabol caught and batted seventh. He singled in the second inning. He doubled in the fifth inning and scored a run.
