The Reds are not very good this year. Mike Leake is a fairly average pitcher. But for some reason, they seem to have the Pirates’ (and Gerrit Cole‘s) number.

That’s pretty rough. Much has been made of the Pirates’ struggles within the division – the 4-6 record against the Cubs and 2-4 mark against the Cards is at least understandable. They’ve done fine (6-3) against the Brewers.
