A funny thing tends to happen when you have the best record in the league. Teams tend to play you harder. Teams tend to give you more of themselves, knowing the effort it now takes to defeat you. I bore witness to this on two separate occasions this weekend, as the incredible 10-0-0-0 start for the WBS Penguins on home ice came crashing back to earth...and in so doing, dragged WBS into a much different kind of streak.
The weekend started off very hopeful for WBS, with news that Bryan Rust had become healthy enough to be returned to WBS following his promotion to and injury in Pittsburgh.
