The WBS Penguins began the last third of their season meeting up with the Hershey Bears at a time where the two franchises were on opposite ends of fortune. WBS entered the game second-to-last in the North Division, while Hershey was starting to run away with the division.
Saturday’s game, the seventh of a scheduled 10 between the rivals this season, started rather quietly, with the only real action being provided by a fight between Anthony Angello and Eddie Wittchow following an Angello boarding penalty in the second peeriod.
