Pitt fired basketball coach Kevin Stallings Wednesday after he posted a 24-41 record in two seasons. That mark included an 0-19 run in ACC play this season.

Here’s a look at how his tenure compares with some of the worst in Pittsburgh sports history.

Robert Timmons, Pitt basketball — Unlike a lot of the guys on this list, Timmons had his moments. He took the Panthers to three NCAA tournaments and their first NIT appearance in an era when that mattered a lot more than it does today. So it’s unfair to call his tenure a total bust.
