PITTSBURGH -- The Tampa Bay Lightning received a bit of good news on Saturday in regard to goaltender Ben Bishop, who exited Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals on a stretcher with a lower-body injury Friday night at Consol Energy Center.
Coach Jon Cooper said Saturday that Bishop is considered day to day but did not disclose whether the Vezina Trophy finalist would play Monday in Game 2.
"Everything's been really good so far with Ben," Cooper said during a conference call. "Much better news than the scene we saw when he was carted off.
