Riding off a somewhat successful California road trip claiming four of six points on the trip and securing a win at home against the Vancouver Canucks. The Penguins walked into Florida to face-off against the defending back to back Stanley Cup Champions, the biggest challenge so far this season for a hot Penguins team.
The Penguins despite what the score says played a full 60 minutes and were able to shut the door in the dwindling minutes of the game.
Florida scored all three goals on the power-play, Brad Marchand was the catalyst for the Panthers on Friday evening and was all over the ice, specifically in the offensive zone, scoring two PPG's.
