Sullivan enters COVID-19 protocol, won't coach tonight

Mike Sullivan has entered the COVID-19 protocol and won't be behind the Penguins' bench when they face the Flyers tonight at 7:08 at PPG Paints Arena.

Assistant coach Todd Reirden, who was head coach of the Capitals for two seasons, will assume Sullivan's duties for the Philadelphia game.

In making the announcement, the Penguins did not specify whether Sullivan has been symptomatic.

The Penguins already have center Sidney Crosby and defensemen Brian Dumoulin, Marcus Pettersson and Chad Ruhwedel in the COVID-19 protocol.
