Sidney Crosby surpasses Jaromir Jagr for highest career earnings in NHL history

When it comes to scoring, a lot of records belong to former Penguins between Mario Lemieux, Jaromir Jagr, Evgeni Malkin, and Sidney Crosby.

Now, two of those players rank #1 and #2 — but in terms of career earnings.

According to CapFriendly, Crosby is now the highest in NHL history when it comes to career earnings, with a total of $129 million (according to their estimated career earnings tracker).

Jagr ranks 2nd on the list with a career earnings of just over $128 million.

The other Penguins players near the top of the list is Evgeni Malkin, 8th all-time, with just over $109 million earned in his career.
