An 8-foot fiberglass shark hangs from a crane above the Parkway West near the WDVE Clear Channel Radio building in Green Tree to show solidarity towards the Penguins’ Stanley Cup final run. The shark is hung from its neck, accompanied by a large sign reading ”Let’s Go Pens, Kill The Sharks.”
The shark and sign was provided by iHeartMedia, which operates WWSW-FM 94.5; WKST-FM 96.1; WDVE-FM 102.5; WPGB-FM 104.7; WXDX-FM 105.9; and WBGG-AM 970. It was purchased from Florida, shipped to Pittsburgh and raised Friday afternoon.
