Rutherford says goalie choice Sullivan's to make

General manager Jim Rutherford said he has no plans to dictate who will start in goal for the Penguins on Friday to open the Eastern Conference Finals, when asked if the timing might be right for a change.

“That’s a question the coach has to answer,” said Rutherford in a short press conference at the team’s practice facility, deferring to Mike Sullivan. “He’ll make adjustments at the appropriate time, but we have three good goalies.”

Rookie Matt Murray has gone 7-2 since debuting in the first round, and is certainly a good bet to retain the job.
