Retired Penguins winger Pascal Dupuis finalist for NHL's Masterton Trophy

Retired Penguins winger Pascal Dupuis is a finalist for the NHL's Masterton Trophy, which recognizes "perseverance, sportsmanship and dedication to hockey."

Florida's Jaromir Jagr and Mats Zuccarello are the other finalists.

Dupuis was forced to retire early this season because of recurring issues and concerns with blood clots. He appeared in 18 games in 2015-16 and continues to work with the team in an off-ice capacity.

Jagr, 44, was the Panthers' leading scorer with 27 goals and 39 assists and became the oldest player in league history to earn 60 or more points.

Zuccarello suffered a serious head injury when he was struck by a teammate's slap shot during the Rangers' first-round playoff series against the Penguins in 2015, but recovered well enough to play in 81 games this season and record career-highs in goals [26] and points [61].
