After missing the last two games of the Western Conference final against the Anaheim Ducks due to an undisclosed injury, Predators captain Mike Fisher confirmed Sunday that he will return for Game 1 tonight in the Stanley Cup final.
As the lone player on the roster with finals experience, his return could be a major boost for a team that hasn't been in this position before.
This series marks the first finals appearance for Nashville, and having Fisher on the ice will be helpful, center Colton Sissons said.
"He just has such a leadership presence in our locker room," Sissons said.
