VANCOUVER, British Columbia — When the Penguins traded Derrick Pouliot to Vancouver on Oct. 3, the consensus view was that this should be a good thing for Pouliot, that he needed a change of scenery.
About a month later, that has definitely turned out to be the case. Pouliot has seemingly found his game here, on a third pairing with Alex Biega.
“Sometimes a change of scenery is good for players,” Pouliot said following the Canucks’ morning skate on Saturday at Rogers Arena. “To get a fresh start and a new opportunity can help. It’s been good for me so far.
