Until the offseason arrives, major hockey-related news involving the Penguins will be at a minimum unless they decide to resign a player or make a shocking trade. Most of what we will get now is either opinion on the team or business related items. June really can’t get here fast enough.

After months of uncertainty surrounding the future of the Penguins AHL affiliate the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, the team announced a 10-year extension with the Baby Pens franchise for them to remain as their AHL club and stay home in eastern Pennsylvania.
