The Pittsburgh Penguins will begin the 2016-17 regular season by hosting the Washington Capitals on Thursday, October 13 at CONSOL Energy Center.
Prior to the season opener the Penguins will raise their 2016 Stanley Cup championship banner.
More details on opening night will be announced at a later date.
The Penguins’ complete 2016-17 regular-season schedule will be released on Tuesday afternoon.
