The Pittsburgh Penguins made their first signing of the 2025 NHL free agency period by adding defenseman Parker Wotherspoon.
Wotherspoon, 27, played with the Boston Bruins for the last two seasons. Prior to that he was originally drafted in 2015 by the New York Islanders. Analytically, Wotherspoon is a player that might be worth, he had some standout attributes for Boston last season in 55 games — where he averaged playing 18:02 per game.
Parker Wotherspoon has had some pretty fascinating underlyings in his time with the Bruins.
He's a UFA on July 1.
