The Penguins on Friday announced key dates for the rest of the summer, as well as their 2018-19 preseason schedule.
The first on-ice session of training camp will occur Friday, Sept. 14, and four days later the Penguins will travel to Buffalo to take on the Sabres at KeyBank Arena.
That’s one of three preseason road games. The others are Sept. 19 at Detroit and Sept. 28 at Columbus.
The three preseason home dates are as follows: Sept. 22 against Columbus, Sept. 23 against Detroit and Sept. 26 against Buffalo. The game on Sept. 23 — a Sunday afternoon — will be the annual “Free Game for Kids.
